01

Scope and who we are

LiveGreeks (“LiveGreeks,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides market-information, analytics, and account services through livegreeks.com and app.livegreeks.com. This policy applies to personal information processed through those services. It does not cover third-party websites or services that have their own privacy policies.

LiveGreeks provides educational market intelligence and does not use account information to provide individualized financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.

02

Information we collect

Information you provide

  • Account information: first name, last name, email address, account status, and account creation and update timestamps.
  • Credentials: your password is processed to create a salted and cryptographically protected password hash. LiveGreeks does not store your readable password.
  • Profile changes and account recovery: information needed to verify email changes, password resets, and other security requests.
  • Communications: the content and contact information you provide when you email support or otherwise contact us.

Information collected automatically

  • Security and session information: session identifiers, login and last-seen timestamps, expiration or revocation status, and one-way security fingerprints derived from IP address and browser user-agent information.
  • Network and request information: IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, referring page, timestamps, and diagnostic information may be processed temporarily by LiveGreeks and our network or hosting providers to deliver and secure the service.
  • Browser-stored preferences: theme, navigation state, symbols, watchlist selections, custom dashboard layouts, interface settings, and session notes may be stored locally in your browser. In the current service, these preferences and notes remain on that browser unless a feature expressly tells you otherwise.
No payment-card collection today

LiveGreeks does not currently collect or store payment-card information. Before paid memberships begin, we will update this policy and identify the payment processor and relevant payment-data practices.

03

How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • create, verify, maintain, and secure your account;
  • authenticate access to the LiveGreeks dashboard;
  • send transactional messages such as verification, password-reset, email-change, and security notices;
  • provide requested features and remember your settings;
  • detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, and security incidents;
  • operate, troubleshoot, maintain, and improve the service;
  • respond to support requests and communicate service-related information; and
  • comply with law, enforce our agreements, and protect users, LiveGreeks, and others.

LiveGreeks does not currently send promotional marketing emails. Transactional account and security messages are necessary to operate your account.

Market analytics may be generated automatically, but LiveGreeks does not use your personal information to make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.

04

Legal bases for processing

Where European Economic Area or United Kingdom data-protection law applies, we rely on one or more of the following bases:

  • Contract or steps at your request: to create and operate the account and service you request.
  • Legitimate interests: to secure, maintain, diagnose, and improve LiveGreeks; prevent abuse; and communicate about the service, balanced against your rights.
  • Legal obligation: when processing is necessary to comply with applicable law.
  • Consent: where we specifically ask for consent, including for non-essential browser technologies if introduced. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.

You are not legally required to provide account information, but we cannot create or operate your LiveGreeks account without the required name, email, and credential information.

05

How we disclose information

We disclose personal information only as needed for the purposes described above:

  • Infrastructure and security: Cloudflare helps route and protect traffic, and Render hosts the LiveGreeks application.
  • Database hosting: Turso stores LiveGreeks account and authentication records.
  • Transactional email: Resend processes names, email addresses, message content, and delivery metadata to deliver account and security emails.
  • Interface and chart resources: services such as Font Awesome, UNPKG, and TradingView may receive ordinary network information when their resources or embedded features load.
  • Legal and safety: we may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law or legal process, enforce agreements, investigate abuse, or protect rights, safety, and security.
  • Business transactions: information may be transferred as part of a merger, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar transaction, subject to applicable law.
We do not sell personal information

LiveGreeks does not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use it to serve targeted advertising. If that practice changes, we will update this policy and provide legally required choices before the new use begins.

06

Cookies and browser storage

LiveGreeks uses a strictly necessary, host-only session cookie to keep you securely signed in. In production, the account cookie is configured as Secure, HttpOnly, and SameSite=Lax, and normally expires after 30 days. A legacy access cookie may also be used for older access arrangements.

We also use local storage and session storage for user-requested interface functions, including theme, dashboard layout, watchlist and symbol selections, navigation state, notes, and one-time interface messages. You can clear this information through your browser settings, though doing so resets the related preferences and may sign you out.

LiveGreeks does not currently use advertising cookies. If we introduce non-essential analytics, advertising, or similar tracking, we will provide any consent or opt-out controls required by applicable law.

07

How long we retain information

  • Account records: retained while your account remains active and afterward only as reasonably necessary for security, dispute resolution, legal compliance, and enforcement.
  • Sessions: active account sessions normally expire after 30 days. Revoked or expired security records may be retained briefly to prevent abuse and support investigations.
  • Verification and recovery records: verification links generally expire after 24 hours; password-reset and email-change links generally expire after one hour. Token records are retained only as reasonably necessary to complete and secure those processes and are then deleted or rendered unusable.
  • Support communications and operational logs: retained for as long as reasonably needed to respond, maintain security and reliability, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations.
  • Browser storage: remains on your device until the service or your browser removes it, or until you clear it.

When information is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it, subject to backup cycles and legal obligations.

08

How we protect information

LiveGreeks uses administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. These include encrypted transport, restricted database credentials, cryptographically protected passwords, hashed session and verification tokens, secure cookie controls, request validation, rate limiting, and access controls.

No internet service or storage system is completely secure. You are responsible for using a unique password, protecting access to your email account and devices, and notifying us promptly if you suspect unauthorized account access.

09

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a portable copy of personal information; to restrict or object to certain processing; to withdraw consent; and to appeal a denied privacy request. You may also have the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising a privacy right.

You can update your name, email, and password through the LiveGreeks profile page. For access, deletion, portability, objection, restriction, or appeal requests, email [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law, subject to verification of the agent’s authority and your identity.

If EEA or UK law applies, you may lodge a complaint with the data-protection authority where you live or work. We encourage you to contact us first so we can address the concern.

10

International data transfers

LiveGreeks and its service providers may process information in the United States and other countries where they operate. Those countries may have different data-protection laws than your country. Where required, we rely on recognized legal mechanisms and safeguards for international transfers. Contact us if you need additional information about transfer safeguards relevant to your information.

11

Children’s privacy

LiveGreeks is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to LiveGreeks, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where appropriate.

12

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as LiveGreeks changes. We will post the revised policy here and update the “Last updated” date. If a change materially affects how we use personal information, we will provide additional notice or request consent where required.
